Learning of someone’s death is often difficult to deal with emotionally and even spiritually. What helps me is to just picture Mary, arms open, welcoming the person to her and the person falling into her arms completely comforted.
Mother, Mary – Please embrace Nate into your loving arms. Provide him with the comfort he could not find here on earth. Hold him tight. Keep him close. Welcome him to you and ease his pain. O loving mother, embrace your son Nate for he needs you so very much, now more than ever. Amen.
Hail Holy Queen, Mother of mercy, Our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us. And after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement O loving O sweet Virgin Mary.
Pray for us oh holy mother of God. / That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
