I walked forward thru the door
then it closed behind me.
I looked around unsure;
nothing familiar to guide me.
But boldly I stepped forward.
Boldly I took stride.
I owned this path before me.
I own it. It is mine.
-Written 4.09.2021, after finishing my last day of full-time work as I started my adventure into full-time mom-hood.
In re-reading it today I liked it so wanted to share.
I can’t believe it’s been 3 years since that day. It really feels like it was a lifetime ago! I am still figuring out this full-time mom-hood-ness, but each day I take another step in this crazy adventure and am so appreciative that God has been so great to us. I am so blessed in so many inconceivable ways! Nothing would happen though if I never took any steps forward in faith.
