Why is it that when Jesus appeared to the Apostles after his Resurrection that he had the stigmata – wounds in his hands and feet, and side – but he did not have marks on his head where the crown of thorns pierced Him?
In all depictions I have seen of Jesus where he has the stigmata he never has any marking from the thorns. I am curious as to what that is.
