“…persevere in the faith, firmly grounded, stable, and not shifting from the hope of the Gospel…” – Colossians 1:21-23
There are a lot of words in those 3 verses but the whole point of them (asides from reconfirming that “God has now reconciled you in the fleshly Body of Christ through his death”) seems to come down to those.
The simplicity, clarity, and message of that phrase speaks deeply to my heart.
