30 Days of Gratitude Challenge: Day 9 (text or call a friend)

Text or call a friend you haven’t spoken to in a while. Listen to what is new in their life. Pray three Hail Marys for this person and thank God for them.

Ugh-a-bugh. This lost me at “text or call”. Even if it is to a friend that is just hard for me. And then there is that whole “unknown amount of time” element where I don’t know what will happen after my text/call.

I mean calling or texting or even talking to my friends has never been a strong suit of mine. I like writing. I guess if it was like “write a letter” I’d’ve been “Oh boy! What fun!” … Or at least less ugh-a-bugh about it.

Anyways I have to admit that I didn’t do this challenge day’s challenge. I do though aim to do this soon. I just have to take a few deep breaths, get over myself, and pick a friend — God does know I have plenty to pick from since I never really reach out to anyone…
