30 Days of Gratitude Challenge: Day 25 (hug the people you love)

30 Days of Gratitude Challenge: Day 25

Happy Thanksgiving! Hug the people you love extra closely today and thank God for he many ways He has blessed your life.

In a strange coincidence of happenstance and timing… This morning at 6am Ruthie woke up and so so did I. That part wasn’t strange. But the next part was…

A few days ago Ruthie found her voice and so has been all squeals and shrieks. So at 6am she happily woke the house up with her cute noises.

Now Nora tends to wake up shortly after we do because she hears us and she has serious FOMO. But Ryan never wakes up. But today he did. (That’s the strange part.)

So instead of the three of us starting our day doing whatever we were gonna start our day doing, the four of us started our day all snuggled and cuddled up in bed together, chatting and telling each other how thankful we were for one another and how life is so precious.

God has blessed us tremendously. Everyone I love so dearly were all within my arms this morning. And we spent the whole day together. We even put up the Christmas tree. And for dinner we happened to work together as a family and made a delicious Thanksgiving meal, which we then enjoyed together. After Ruthie went to bed, Ryan, Nora and I snuggled on the couch and watched a movie. (Side note: It was ‘Turkey Hollow’ and I don’t recommend it.) All-in-all a perfect, simple day of family, love, and food. I can’t ask for anything more.
