Let us go to Bethlehem to see
What the angel said would be:
An infant lying in a trough
Wrapped up tight in swaddling cloth
Let us go to Bethlehem to see
Messiah, Lord, the newborn king
God’s perfect love made manifest
God-with-us in the flesh
Let us go and see
Let us go and see
Sing out: “Holy! Holy!
Glory to God in the highest!
Glory to God in the highest!”
At last in Bethlehem are we
Just as the angel said would be:
The infant in a manger lies
With Joseph, Mary by his side
From the heavens these glad tidings:
This child is the King of Kings!
Rejoice! Listen! Heed the Word!
This child is Christ the Lord!
Let all who have ears, let them hear:
Our salvation has appeared
All glory and praise to God on high
Our redemption has arrived
Let us praise his name
Let us praise his name
Sing out: “Holy! Holy!
Glory to God in the highest!
Glory to God in the highest!
Glory to God in the highest!”
